Metarex Co. Ltd. was founded in 1992. The main activity code of the company as per Classification of Economic Activities CEA-2008 is "38.32 Recycling of sorted wastes". The company has licensed sites and offices in the cities of Shumen, Varna, Dobrich, Sofia and others. The activity of the company provides new employment opportunities, career and right of decent labour for unemployed and inactive persons. The management plans with the funding of this project to create 28 new job positions. The project activities are aimed at unemployed persons with lower than average education - among them the company will be looking for labourers and unemployed youths up to 29 years. incl., among which there will be selected personnel for administration. For positions as forklift driver, welder, electrician, mechanic of material handling equipment and driver will be employed by priority persons of the target group of long-term unemployed and inactive persons. The project plans for the newly appointed workers in administration there to be equipped eight new working places by buying of eight computer configurations for the same employees and provides training in key competence 4 "Digital competence". Opening of two new jobs for forklift drivers will be accomplished by purchasing of a telehandler financed by funds under the project. Given the activity of Metarex Co. Ltd., there will be provided funds for the project personal protective equipment and special clothing, that are needed for complex personal protection, besides there will be provided occupational health service for all newly hired 28 employees.
