Secure incomes from labour and sustainable jobs in "MC and M" Ltd.

The project proposal of "MC and M" Ltd. meets the key challenges of the labour market - high unemployment in the North-western region and social exclusion among the unemployed and inactive persons, creating 21 new jobs in the clothing company. The project will be implemented in the poorest EU region, according to EUROSTAT - North-western, Lom with an unemployment rate 29%, which is 3 times higher than the national average, according to EA, for I-st half of 2015. At the same time the company unveiled a new sewing workshop in Lom, due to increased volume of orders from foreign customers. Main objective of the project is to contribute to creating sustainable jobs for the unemployed and inactive persons in a sewing factory from Lom by providing new jobs to 21 people and raising the quality of the workforce of 18 persons through training in profession "Tailor". The project is aimed at vulnerable groups in the labour market, 80% of the target group is a priority for scheme "New workplace". It aims to promote the employment of people at disadvantage in the labour market by opening 21 new jobs and employment for 12 months: 5 inactive and 16 unemployed persons, including 2 persons up to the age of 29, 2 persons over 54 years old and 6 persons with low education and sustainable subsequent employment to 11 of them. For 18 of the new employees 300 hours of training will be provided in the profession "Tailor", first qualification degree. Resource ensuring of new workplaces will be provided through the purchase of specialized sewing equipment. With the resources of the company after the expiry of the project, employment will be provided for an indefinite time for 50% of those involved in the project activities. The implementation period of the project is 16 months. During the whole period the rules for publicity and visualization will be followed, has highlighted firstly contribution of the European Union, through the HRD OP for implementation of the activities.
