Tandem 13 EOOD opens 45 new workplaces to boost long-term employment in the municipality of Sliven

The company Tandem 13 EOOD was established in 2013 in the town of Sliven. The company’s vision is to turn into a quickly-developing company for clothing production. The first step towards meeting this objective was to open 4 new workplaces, and the second natural and needed step is namely the implementation of this project proposal. The project’s overall aim is to create prerequisites for providing long-term and sustainable employment, and to improve access to it. The specific objective is to provide employment for 45 inactive or/and unemployed persons. The above aims will be implemented through the implementation of the following project activities: - Forming a project team to ensure the effective and trouble-free implementation of the planned activities; - Hiring a total of 45 people at two types of positions – ironing operator and tailor; - Equipping 23 workplaces by purchasing ironing equipment; - Publicizing the activities and spreading the best practice in the region; The implementation of the activities envisaged in this project proposal will result in the following outcomes: - Creating 45 sustainable workplaces in the town of Sliven; - Provision of 23 equipped workplaces, which will contribute to enhancing employment quality; - Encouraging youth employment – at a minimum of 8 positions, people under 29 will be employed; - Creating prerequisites for reducing poverty in the area of Sliven by increasing employment in the town; - Increasing the possibility for the social inclusion of people by providing equal access to employment irrespective of age, gender, religion, etc. in the recruitment process; - Inclusion of inactive people in the workforce; - Enhancing employment and its quality in the area of Sliven. The overall outcome of the investment will ensure the creation of 45 new sustainable workplaces in the town of Sliven and will contribute to increasing employment in the region.
