New start for unemployed and inactive individuals at Bilta EAD

The project proposal aims to ensure employment access for job-seekers and inactive individuals and sustainable integration of unemployed young people up to 29 years included in the activities of Bilta. This will be achieved through the creation of new sustainable work places and the provision of appropriate training in the workplace for part of the newly hired employees in conjunction with a new opened hotel owned by the company and located in Municipality Gotse Delchev. One of the main priorities Priority 4 as set out in the Municipal Plan 2014-2020 is tourism development. This raises the need of creating new jobs occupied by employees which after an undergone vocational training can meet the ever increasing demands of the hospitality industry. The target group covered by the project proposal are job-seeking inactive individuals and unemployed young people up to 29 years. The total number of beneficiaries included in the project is 38 as the aim of the company is for 52% of them to be unemployed youths up to 29 years. The main activities of the project includes the hiring of 38 job-seeking inactive individuals and unemployed young people up to 29 years for 12 months; providing occupational medicine for them for the duration of the project; providing vocational training for 33 of them; purchase of equipment for the new work places and its insurance, purchase of uniforms the newly hired employees; organization and management activities and information and publicity activities. The successful realization of the project will have a positive impact on the target group by providing sustainable employment and acquiring a vocational qualification or partial qualification. This way students will gain knowledge and skills which is a prerequisite for permanent preservation of the workplace. Creating conditions for productive work in a well-equipped and furnished workplace will create additional motivation for the employees and a feeling of comfort and safety in the workplace.
