Employment for "quality of life" for vulnerable group on the label maret in North-West region in Bulgaria

"Diplomat Corporation" Ltd. is a leader in distribution of home appliances, whose success is determined by an established strategy for sustainable development of the business. The Company is characterized by skillful combination of economic activity and social responsibility. As an employer, the company draws attention to the support of the employees involved and to create opportunities for their professional development such as the sustainability of their economic and social status. Throughthe years the management confirms its orientation in development of labor market through project activities in OPHRD. The project - "Opportunities foremployment, and high quality of life for vulnerable groups in Northwest Bulgaria" is a continuation of the practice of supporting the professional appearance of the employed people and social inclusion. The project consist the employment of persons who, due to objective reasons and difficulties in their careers meet the risk of poverty and social exclusion. The aim is, by opening of 29 new working places, to support initiatives to minimize the unemployment and social exclusion. In the project,for a period of 12 months, unemployed young people up to 29 years and long-term unemployed and inactive people will be engaged in labor responsibilities in the company. The management meets their needs for labor activity and limits the risk of negative economic and social consequences. The planned implementation is a part of the 18 months activity, during which the selection of suitable candidates will be made, their inclusion in employment, organizational, management and reporting activities. The project has a favorable impact on the socio-economic development of northwestern Bulgaria, and it will contribute to decreasethe high unemployment in the region (14.2%) and in town of Lukovitin particular.
