New opportunities for extending working lives "Avanturin Didro" Ltd.

“Avanturin Didro” Ltd. is a newly formed company dedicated to provide eco, rural and ornithological tourism services on the basis of the local natural resources around the village of Stefanovo, Radomir municipality, Pernik province. The company aim is to hire personnel to construct and maintain the green areas, the alleys and the other facilities vital for company’s services. This project contributes to establishing favourable conditions for engaging the unemployed from a priority target group. The focus is directed towards one of the most vulnerable groups, unemployed over 54 years of age. The objectives of this proposal correspond entirely with those of the Operational Programme “Human Resource Development”. These are namely improving quality of living through higher employment rates, constant learning and increasing social engagement. Project activities: Activity 1: To hire unemployed over 54 years of age for a period of 12 month at the most Activity 2: To provide professional development opportunities for the staff Activity 3: To form a team for managing the project Activity 4: To organize and carry out publicity activities Activity 5: To purchase the required equipment and inventory for creating new workplaces By carrying out the above activities the company will hire seven unemployed over 54 years of age and improve their professional qualification. In contemporary conditions, development of human capital gains ever greater importance. This includes: education, healthcare, social and work mobility, skills set and quality of life. As a result of the project activities employment and active participation in the economic and social life amongst elderly people will be enhanced.
