New Jobs at Vihren Trade Ltd.

Vihren Trade Ltd. owns a shoe factory with lasting traditions. Through the implementation of the project the company aims to create 18 quality and sustainable jobs for unemployed and/or inactive persons in a region of Bulgaria where unemployment levels tend to be 4% higher than country average. This will be accomplished via a set of activities within the project. The selection of the people who will be employed will be implemented in close cooperation with the regional branches of the National Employment Agency (Labour Bureaus) as well as local authorities- municipalities and local mayors, and the local community in regard to identifying and involvement of potential job applicants who are currently inactive on the labour market. The selected persons will be provided with employment for at least 12 month in accordance with the provisions of the current Call for proposals where permanent employment in the company will be secured for at least 50% of them. The Applicant aims 50% of the newly employed to be representatives of the priority target groups. The intention of Vihren Trade is to provide permanent employment to all new personnel given that the results and the quality of their work meet company's requirements. In order to ensure the quality of the new workplaces modern equipment will be provided corresponding to the positions on which the persons will be placed. In addition suitable vocational training will also be provided for the new personnel. The Applicant expects a lasting effect on the target group and in regard to the overall activity of the company following the implementation of the project activities. The company will provide opportunity for employment to persons who are motivated to work and who will have the possibility to establish themselves as valuable professionals in the shoe industry. Being employed, as well as having increased their qualification and experience they will continue to work as experienced staff on which the company may rely on.
