Creation of new working places in the "Queen Eleanor - Varna" Hospice Ltd.

The data of the state of the art of the Bulgarian labour market shows stable negative trend of increasing of the unemployment among the disadvantaged people, those aged over 54 and of youth up to 29 years old. These are forming the group of the riskiest unemployed people. The activities of project “Creation of new working places in hospice “Queen Eleonora – Varna” Ltd.” are focused exactly to the above mentioned group. The goal of the project is to create new, sustainable working places for 17 representatives of the target group of the unemployed or inactive people: 4 unemployed or inactive persons with disabilities, 11 unemployed over 54 years of age, and 2 young unemployed (up to 29 years old). An integrated approach is applied in order the goal to be achieved. This includes a set of diverse by type and way of impact activities: a 12-month employment will be ensured for the target group representatives by creation of 17 working places in the hospice – 8 hospital attendants, 7 Social assistants, 1 PC operator in a call center and 1 driver in a call center. An opportunity for professional qualification improvement will be granted to the staff employed within the project, by ensuring a training for acquiring a professional qualification and training for obtaining key competences; a safe and healthy working environment will be ensured by realization of investment expenses for purchasing of the necessary equipment for the new working places. After the completion of the project 12 of the newly created working places will be kept. With the implementation of the project activities the quality of life of the Bulgarian citizens will be raised by improvement of the human resources, increase of the employment level, ensuring the access to qualified education and long life learning and strengthening the social inclusion.
