New opportunities for Bulgarian Tea Company Ltd. through creating new workplaces in Sofia and Panagyurishte

The present project of Bulgarian Tea Company Ltd aims to improve the access to the labour market of unemployed and/or inactive people, including those from vulnerable groups, and to create sustainable workplaces, which will support trade activities of the company. This will be achieved through hiring 16 unemployed or inactive people, including youngsters aged up to 29 years, people aged 54+ or those who are under-educated, as a foreign trade expert, 2 heads of store, 4 trade representatives, accountant, logistics specialist, commercial vehicle driver, 2 merchandisers, electric pallet stacker driver, and 3 workers. Some of the newly hired staff will attend training in Key Competence 2 – Training in Foreign Languages and will receive certificates for using English as a foreign language. Others will attend training in Key Competence 4 – Training in Digital Competences and will receive certificates for successful completion of training. This will promote life-long learning as a way to successfully integrate unemployed and/or inactive people on the labour market. For creating opportunities for the newly hired employees to successfully implement their work tasks in the area of distribution and logistics, one commercial vehicle chassis cab upgraded with aluminium van, an electric pallet stacker, a labeling printing machine and PC equipment will be purchased. For ensuring information and promotion of the project and the financial support from the ESF and OP “Human Resources Development”, information materials will be distributed and information about the project will be published on the website of Bulgarian Tea Company Ltd. For the successful implementation of the project, a project management team will be formed that will ensure achievement of the objectives, smooth implementation of the activities and transparent and effective spending of the grant, according to the rules of the Programme.
