‘We know, we can, we succeed’

The learning center, part of The Federation of Science and Technical Union (FSTU), currently reaps the benefits of the hard-gained experience and from its very foundation has stood out with its quality of services within the professional, computer and foreign language education in the city of Pleven.A measure of this success and the high standard of education at the centre is the fact that over 4500 students have found employment in the tough labour market.Our vision is to develop as an active European-type educational institution which supports all students in their professional education by providing them with innovative and modernized approach backed up with daily-maintained high standard equipment. We would also offer our students consultation in their lifelong learning context and professional education with the aim of ensuring effective integration of the human resource on the labour market.With the implementation of the project proposal we aim to develop an environment that applies the principle of lifelong learning on a wider scale with the ultimate aim of increasing the employees’ life standards and their self-development. Increasing the variety of services offered at the centre will facilitate that in the Pleven region.In order to achieve the above, we are looking to train 5 Professional education consultants who will be mobile and offer the educational services of CPE and FSTU in all municipalities within the Pleven region. This will support our vision of creating a flexible organisation of the future offering both professional and foreign language courses. Through the offered services it is necessary to find the right balance between being a business and being part of the public sector.
