Creating of new working places in Fenelia LTD.

"Fenelia" Ltd. was founded in 2001 and currently deals in wood products. The economic activity code is 16.10 - production of wooden material. The company has no other activity besides this. The company is registered in Sofia, but also has a branch in Oryahovo, with the aim of applying for the program for rural area development during 2007-2013. Production is primarily for the international market - inside the EU, primarily in Italy. All activities under the project would be conducted in the manufacturing base in Oryahovo. During the previous year the company has noted and increased interest for its merchandise and does not have the capacity to complete all orders. To avoid disappointing custommers, activities are subcontracted, which leads to an increase in costs and reduced profits. In order to be competitive, the company foresees the opening of six new job positions, training the new employees to second degree of qualification as 'lumber milling operator', and retaining no less than 50% of the new employees 12 months after the operation is concluded. The project includes providing suitable work suits, personal protection and equipment for every newly hired person and work space. Aditional activities - publicity and creation of a project management organization will also be carried out. The company plans ot hire people from these groups: - unemployed or inactive persons under the age of 29 years - unemployed or inactive persons over the age of 54 years - unemployed or inactive persons with a less than highschool education The new job openings will lead to a net increase in the number of employed personnel
