Encouragement of employment in Rousse by opening new workplaces in "Richmart" Ltd.

A candidate under the "New Workplace 2015" procedure for granting financial assistance is "Richmart" Ltd., whose principal activity is manufacture of outerwear except work clothing in the field of men's suits and children's clothing. The current project proposal includes a set of activities aimed at creating new job opportunities for unemployed and/or inactive people, including those from high-risk categories, in the clothing industry in the city of Rousse. In general, the project aims to contribute to their sustainable integration in the labor market in a long term period of time. In particular, the project envisages the hiring of 35 unemployed and/or inactive persons, 18 of which young people aged up to 29 years at the position "Machine operator, sewing" for a period of 12 months. After completion of the project activities, the company will retain 18 of the newly open workplaces for an additional period of 12 months. As part of the project it is envisaged a purchase of equipment necessary for the creation of new workplaces for the unemployed and/or inactive persons. Additionally, occupational medicine will be provided to the newly hired employees, in order to conduct a safe work. The objectives of the current project fully correspond to the objectives and priorities for higher and better employment set in the "Development of Human Resources" Operational Programme. Their successful implementation will contribute to the increase in the production capacity of the enterprise and to the expansion of its product portfolio on the one hand, and to the creation and retention of new workplaces for unemployed and/or inactive people, including representatives of vulnerable groups, on the other. Ensuring employment to these persons will enable their social and labor realization and thus will eliminate the risk of falling into disadvantaged position, poverty and social exclusion.
