Creating sustainable employment for unemployed and inactive individuals in OZEX LTD

OZEX LTD is an enterprise specialized in manufacture of men’s trousers. The company’s production is mainly exported to the international market. OZEX's clients include famous brands like Strellson, Hugo Boss and others with strong positions on the European and the world market. This project is a great opportunity for the company to acquire the needed competent personnel and to expand its manufacture. All this will enable the company to answer the rising demand and to strenghten its position in the textile industry. The overall objective of the project is to improve the access to employment and the quality of workplaces for unemployed and inactive individuals. The specific objective is to create 40 sustainable workplaces for tailors in OZEX LTD. These objectives are completely corresponding with the objectives and priorities of “Human recourses development” Operational Programme for achieving higher and more qualitative employment. The project will provide selection and hiring of 40 unemployed and inactive individuals, 22 of which are young people aged up to 29 years. They will be employed on the position of “Machine operator sewing”. Furthermore, new sewing machines will be purchased in order to create the new workplaces. For the health and safety of the staff, occupational medicine will be provided. The representatives of the target group will be employed in OZEX LTD for a period up to 12 months during the project. After its completion at least 21 of the workplaces will be kept for at least one year. The objectives and activities of the project address the needs and problems of the unemployed and inactive individuals included in the project by providing sustainable employment, a chance for social and labor realization, as well as preventing the risk of being in disadvantaged position of poverty and social exclusion.
