Training of call center operators for work in Sitel Bulgaria EOOD

In line with Sitel Bulgaria EOOD business development strategy, 1 of corporate goals is to expand activities in Bulgaria. Sitel provides services through its office in Sofia. Since the beginning of 2015, Sitel has a new office in Varna where it is planning to announce over 400 openings over a period of 3 years. Because of the nature of the company’s activities, a mandatory element of the job description for each employee is a certain level of foreign language command. Management is aware of the employees' needs of foreign language skills improvement, especially in labor markets like Varna. Having identified these, Sitel management has been encouraged to find suitable methods of finance. Target group of the project is: “Unemployed and inactive persons” 100% of the newly hired employees through this project in Sitel Bulgaria EOOD are expected to be part of the particular target group: “Unemployed young people under 29 incl”. The total number of unemployed persons to be hired within the scope of the project is 60 people; upon project completion 30 of these jobs to be retained for a period of minimum 12 months. Goals of this project – creation of new jobs and training of newly hired employees will be fulfilled through the following activities: 1.Organization and management of the project 2.Hiring of unemployed young people under 29 incl for a period of 12 months 3.Training of the newly hired employees under this project for Key Competence 2 “Communication in foreign languages” (as per the European qualification framework) 4.Informing and publicity of the project Fundamental expected results: 1.60 young people under 29 incl. hired on labor contracts for a period of 12 months 2.Completion of training of the newly hired under this project for Key competence 2 “Communication with foreign languages” 3.Retaining a minimum of 30 sustainable jobs in Sitel Bulgaria EOOD for a minimum of 12 months upon project finalization
