Eurocourier Ltd. was established in 2006. The main activities of the company are courier services and domestic road transport in Bulgaria. The company applies contemporary technology and works in accordance with world-wide recognized standarts. Eurocourier Ltd. specializes in providing freight forwarding, logistic, storage, distribution and courier services ’door-to-door’, with express and economical fee. The company organizes storage and transport of dangerous cargo (ADR), partial and group loads, individual shipments etc. The company has well-developed network with own trucks and contracts with carriers across Bulgaria. The company is part of a group with a wide presence in the transport and logistics services – EUROSPED Group. In order to improve the company’s market position and to develop and expand its activities, Eurocourier Ltd. plans to create 13 new job positions, including 4 warehouse workers, 1 technical assistant, 6 couriers, 1 logistic specialist and 1 forward specialist. Currently the list of employees consists of 63 people, working over their capacity. This may occur a risk of low service quality. In addition the existing staff shall not be able to cover the potential activity’s spreading and the growing customers’ demand. Opening new job positions shall allow the company to implement its strategic plans about expanding its market presence and improving the quality of the provided services. Opening new job positions and hiring job-seekers and inactive people, including representatives of the target groups, fully complies with Priority Axis 1 "Improving the access to employment and quality of jobs".
