New Jobs at "ALPEA KET." EOOD

„ALPEA KET.” EOOD is specialized in the retail of food and other products. The company operates in Sofia and has two warehouses in the city. Currently „ALPEA KET.” EOOD is implementing a joint business project with “METRO Cashamp;Carry Bulgaria” EOOD. The project plans for the development of an on-line shop and door-to-door delivery of product sold by METRO. „ALPEA KET.” EOOD is going to provide the software (developed by a subcontractor – a specialized software company), develop the marketing strategy, employ and train the staff and maintain the service. The organization has an office at address: Munchen14A Str. Sofia where the workplaces of the staff will be situated. The project will be implemented first in Sofia, and later there are plans to cover other cities in Bulgaria as well. The initiative is unique for METRO and plans for the development of a completely new market for the retailer. The implementation periods of the initiative are in line with the indicative periods for project implementation of the present grant scheme. With this project proposal „ALPEA KET.” EOOD is applying for the creation and equipping of 12 new jobs for the implementation of the joint initiative with METRO. The new jobs will not only be for unskilled workers but also for employees who are going to develop skills for customer management, marketing, etc. The target group of the project are unemployed and inactive people, at least 50% of whom are going to be young people at or below the age of 29, living in Sofia city or Sofia District. After the project completion the applicant is going to keep at least 6 of the new jobs for a period of 12 months. The project plans for an activity for organization and management and an activity for information and publicity. In all activities specific measures are planned for the implementation of the principles of equal opportunity, lack of discrimination, gender equality and sustainable development.
