New jobs for long-term growth in Leader 96 OOD

The main business of Leader 96 OOD, whose production facilities are located in Rogosh Village, in Plovdiv District, is the production of all kinds of bicycles - children, mountaineering, urban, racing, and for one year now electric. Annually about 250 000 bicycles are being produced, 90% of which are destined for export - mainly to EU countries - the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France as well as for Switzerland and Russia. The growing demand and corporate policy, aimed at increasing the market share, made the company launch a major investment project to expand the production base, which will be completed in 2016. In order to increase the production capacity, investing in new high-tech equipment is envisaged, which requires the creation of new jobs in the company for machine operators, bicycle assemblers, workers, etc. Creating incentives for employers to create new jobs under this procedure, as well as the forecast internal corporate training will contribute to overcome this problem. The project proposal of the applicant includes the following activities: - Hiring 36 unemployed and / or inactive persons for a period of 12 months, 50% of whom belong to vulnerable labor market groups / individuals with poor education and qualifications, permanently unemployed, aged over 54, disabled people and youths under the 29 /; - Purchasing fixed assets - machines and inventory associated to the creation of new jobs; - Ensuring the sustainability of the newly opened working places through the commitment of the applicant beneficiary to maintain at least half of them long-term; The implementation of this project proposal will not only help improve access to employment for those unemployed and inactive, the quality of the working places and the integration of the most vulnerable groups on the labor market, but will contribute to enhancing the competitiveness of the enterprise.
