Improvement of the quality of jobs and the creation of safe and healthy working conditions at the University Hospital for Active Treatment "Dr. Georgi Stransky" - Pleven

The project idea is targeted completely towards the employees of UHACT "Dr. Georgi Stranski"-Pleven, working in the field of healthcare and hospital care. The objective of the project is to improve the work environment and work conditions for those working in the field of humane healthcare, by applying a set of activities, measure, new organizational practices and investments for good and safe work conditions. The project is aimed at introducing new systems and tools for human resource development and organization of the work process in the hospital and new processes for safe and healthy working conditions. In order to minimize the risk and to protect the health of the employees, personal protective equipment and special clothing for the needs of the employees will be purchased and provided. It is planned to conduct training in health and safety at work, which is a reliable tool for human resource development and the prevention of hazards to their life and health. Funds will be provided for collective protection and equipment related to improving working conditions in the hospital.A mechanism will be introduced to strengthen the motivation and the productivity of the workforce and to improve the working environment by investing in social benefits associated with the short term recreation and the vocations of the staff. Information and publicity activity will be implemented with the objective to promote the project idea, the good practices in the field of good and safe working conditions, the program and the contribution of the European Union. The activities are targeted at providing equal working conditions and prevention of any discrimination towards different groups of people. Their implementation will improve the quality of the jobs, the access to employment and the working conditions and will increase the productivity of the workforce. The activities are in support of the policy for environmental protection, climate change and the effectiveness of the resources.
