Improving safety and working conditions in "Katya Stoinova" ET

Katya Stoinova ET was established in 1994 and produces chairs and tables made of solid wood. The activity is mainly specialized in the creation of classic and contemporary models of tables and chairs. The range of tables,depending on the size,color and material that is used (beech,oak or pine) exceed 800 model,and the chairs are over 1000. The production is realized primarily abroad–both through direct export, and work with materials supplied by the clients.The goal group included in the project proposal are all employees in the company, a total of 45 workers,9 of them are over 54 years. Commitment of leadership is to keep employment at the min. 50% of the target group for a period of 6 months after the completion of project activities. The project activities include:Organization and management of the project;Information and publicity;The development, adaptation and introduction of systems for the development of human resources in the enterprise and an introduction of innovative models for Labour Organisation aimed at raising productivity and environmental protection through the development of a strategy for the introduction of new systems, practices and tools for the development of human resources and labour organisation,on the basis of which to develop software for the management of human resources;Providing safe and healthy working conditions,improving professional and health status of employees through the purchase of PPE and protective clothing, and specific training of employees;Providing social benefits for workers,including the repair of the equipment and places of recreation,dining and rest. The expected results of the project are:Introduced innovative models for labour organisation aimed at raising productivity and environmental protection:Improved working conditions of 45 workers;Provided the prerequisites for the transition to a low-carbon economy that is sustainable of the climate change, environmentally sustainable and using resources efficiently.
