JUNONA-KATIA GENEVA EOOD, specializing in the manufacture and sale of ladies and children clothing under the brand name JUNONA, occupies a leading position on the Bulgarian market and successfully sells its products exported to markets in Russia, Portugal, Cyprus, Greece, England. The company was founded in 2000 by Katia Geneva, which is the sole shareholder, manager of the company and its chief designer. At present, the average number of personnel in the company is 178 employees. Globalization and increasing competition now impose dynamic adapting to the changing needs of the economy and the labour market. Support for employers to provide better and safer working conditions, social benefits for employees and encouraging their geographical mobility under this procedure will contribute to this. This project proposal of the applicant, aimed at sustainable and quality employment, includes the following activities: - Provide organized transportation to and from the workplace by the employer for 20 company employees for a period of 12 months; - Ensure a safe and healthy working environment by providing means of collective protection from adverse microclimate and improve ergonomics at work; - Provide a safe and healthy working environment by purchasing new more modern personal protective equipment and special clothing for 169 persons; - Provide social benefits for workers by setting up places for recreation and sports; - Promote project objectives and the results achieved through appropriate information and communication measures; The investment in improving working conditions as a result of the successful implementation of the project will contribute not only to enhancing the quality of the working place and for a better balance between the personal and professional lives of the employees, but will also create conditions to increase labor productivity and competitiveness at JUNONA-KATIA GENEVA EOOD.
