Improving safety and health at work in "Tovarni prevozi"JSC

"Tovarni prevozi"JSC is a company with 20 years of history in the field of trade with fuels, lubricants and transport services. The management team of the company is convinced that safety and health are a major concern for employers, especially if they want to compete on the European and world market, to apply modern principles of management based on corporate social responsibility. The company operates in full accordance with the provisions of Bulgarian legislation and comply with generally accepted standards of safety and health at work. The project aims to upgrade operations performed so far on providing safe and healthy conditions of work and plans the following measures: 1. Development, adaptation and implementation of systems for human resource development, incl. opportunities for flexible forms of employment 2. Provide safe and healthy working conditions, improve work and health status of employees 3. Ensuring a social benefit for employees - a place for sport The target group of the project proposal includes all 38 employees at the time officials "Tovarni prevozi"JSC, divided into three main categories: administration; trade in fuels and lubricants; transport services. Given that the company is one of the few companies applying health and safety at work, expectations and attitudes of its activities in this area are extremely high. This project will complement activities carried out to date and will provide an opportunity to reach the maximum level of safety would help prevent accidents, reduce the cost of absenteeism from work and treatment of staff and last but not least will build on the efforts of management in the direction of providing a safe and healthy working conditions for workers and the promotion of the seriousness and importance of this kind of activities.
