IMPROVEMENT OF SAFETY AND WORKING CONDITIONS IN VODSTROI PLOVDIV AD

Vodstroj Plovdiv AD is a construction company specializing in the construction of irrigation and hydraulic structures, dams, irrigation and drainage systems; indoor and outdoor water supply and sanitation; facilities of transport infrastructure: bridges, tunnels, railways; civil and industrial buildings and warehouses with different functions; fabrication and installation of steel structures; production mix concrete and concrete products. . The company has implemented a certified management system for occupational health and safety standard OHSAS 18001: 2007; a system of environmental management ISO 14001: 2004 and a quality management system ISO 9001: 2008. Human resources are the most important asset of the company due to the need for specific knowledge and skills because of tough competition and the large number of customers The target group included in the proposal are all employees in the company - 107 employees, 33 of them are over 54 years old. Commitment of the management is to maintain employment min. 50% of the target group for a period of 6 months after completion of the project. The project activities provide: Organization and project management; Information and publicity; Development, adaptation and introduction of a system to develop human resources in the enterprise and introduce innovative models for the organization of labor; Providing safe and healthy working conditions, improve work and health status of employees by providing collective protection, purchase of PPE and special clothing, training on specific health risks. The expected results of the project are: Introduced innovative models of work organization aimed at raising productivity, reconciliation of work, private and family life and extend the working lives of older employees; Improved working conditions for 107 persons; increasing the competitiveness of the company.
