IMPROVEMENT OF SAFETY AND WORKING CONDITIONS IN BOZOVI-2009 Ltd

Bozovi-2009 Ltd was established in 2009 and has extensive experience in the field of the logging, woodworking and timber trade. The company faces challenges typical for the industry-a dynamic competitive environment and rivalry for qualified staff with professional experience. The project activities include: Organization and management of the project; Information and publicity, Development, adaptation and implementation of systems for the development of human resources in the enterprise and the introduction of innovative models for labour organization aimed at raising productivity and environmental protection through the development of a system for the introduction of new practices and measures for the development of human resources and labour organization,on the basis of which to develop software for the management of human resources; Providing safe and healthy working conditions, improving work and health status of employees through providing means of collective protection, PPE and protective clothing and specific training of employees; Acquisition of a standard for safety at work; Providing social benefits for workers,including the repair of the equipment and places for relax,dining and rest in the company,sports facilities,etc The target group included in the project proposal is all employees in the company, a total of 14 employees, as 2 of them are over the age of 54, and 1 disabled person. Commitment of management is to keep employment at the min. 50% of the target group for a period of 6 months after the completion of project activities. The expected results of the project are: Introduced innovative models for labour organization aimed at raising productivity and environmental protection; Improved working conditions of 14 workers; Provided prerequisites for the transition to a low-carbon economy that is sustainable to climate change, environmentally sustainable and resource efficient.
