Improvement of the labor conditions in “Assembly and Welding” department and work with Human Resources in Metal EAD.

The Project Application aims improvement of the working environment in Metal EAD. For the achievement of this goal the project application provides the following activities and the appropriate measures for their execution: - Development and implementation of a Human resources system, based on an innovative model for the organization of labor, achieving higher productivity and protection for the environment , implementing flexible forms of employment, easier compatibility between personal and professional life and prolonging the working lives of older employees. - Securing resources for collective protection of the working environment in “Assembly and Welding” department through improvement of the microclimate and dust protection, toxic and other hazardous substances – purchase and implementation of a heating system, mobile aspiration systems for welding dust and a professional vacuum cleaning system. - Purchase of Personal Protective Equipment and special working clothes. -Organization and management of the project. - Awareness and publicity. As a result of the execution of the project: - New innovative methods will be implemented, aiming higher productivity and protection of the working environment, including measures for flexible forms of employment, easier compatibility between personal and professional life and prolonging the working lives of older employees. - Resources for collective protection of the working environment in “Assembly and Welding” department, through improvement of the microclimate and dust protection, toxic and other hazardous substances, will be provided. - The safety and health conditions in “Assembly and Welding” department will be improved, by providing the staff with high quality Personal Protective Equipment and special working clothes. - The impact on the environment will be improved, through reducing the emitted dust, toxic and hazardous substances, thereby supporting the transition to a low carbon economy.
