Balance between the professional and family and personal life, healthy working environment – resource for increasing the competitiveness of NOVA LINIA LTD

The candidate, Nova Linia Ltd is one of the leading garments production companies in Ruse. Target group are 80 persons, working in the company-88,7% of whom are women; 11–aged over 54 and 1 person with disabilities. 39 people of the company staff are travelling to work from other places in the region. General objective of the project–improving the working environment in the organisation by providing better health and safety working conditions, optimised human resources management and development system and organisation of work. Specific objectives: 1.Optimisation of the human resources management and development system and organisation of work for better incorporation of the professional life with family and personal life and prolongation of the professional life of older workers; 2.Optimisation of the transport service, promotion of mobility and sustainable employment; 3.Improving the working conditions by securing, ecologisation of the working environment and training about safety at the workplace. Project activities for influencing the target group: optimising the existing human resources management and development system and organisation of work–including innovative approach for better incorporation of the professional life with family and personal life and prolongation of the professional life of 11 persons aged over 54; improving the transport service for 39 travelling workers; providing collective safety equipment and reconstruction for improving the safety working conditions; training of stuff about safety at the workplace; providing social benefits–creating a “green zone”, a place for rest and fitness of the workers and the children of 25 women working in the company, delivery of equipment for the eating establishment. Result: Improved working environment for 80 people, working in the company by providing better and healthy working conditions, optimised human resources management and development system and organisation of work.
