Occupational health and safety for Arev Premier Ltd.

The nature of working processes and the different jobs within the company (long time sitting,standing, exposed to harmful effects) requires a permanent renewal, upgrade and modernization of the present collective protection and personal protective equipment for workers to ensure their health and safety. The project envisages actions from all categories of eligible activities of this procedure in order to be covered a maximum number of employees and to improve the overall working environment and quality of employment. This will ensure maximum sustainable and long-term impact of the project in terms of improving the quality of jobs and ensuring healthy and safe working conditions. Implementation of the planned activities will lead to the following positive results: Introduction of HRD system will improve work organization and human resource management Organizing transportation for those living outside Ruse workers will increase their mobility and the level of sustainable employment. The investments for collective protection-industrial vacuum, ergonomic chairs and tables, tailored to the needs of individual jobs, conditioners for improving the micro climate, general and local lighting, replacement of windows woodwork of the workshop and outdoor railing will improve occupational health and safety.The personal protective equipment will reduce the risk of occupational injuries for the specific workplaces. Equipping of dining and recreation room will provide conditions for complete recreation for the workers, including disabled person from the target group. The target group includes 52 out of 55 working in production (jobs-tailor ironing,launderer,cutter, worker ancillary activity, wrapper, technologist, a quality control, dispatcher) and the administration of the company. 14 persons over 54 years old incl. 1 person with disabilities are presented In the target group.
