Improvement of the work environment of the employees of Bale ltd. through investments in securing health and safety work conditions and optimization of the work processes

Bale OOD was established in the year 2000 in Plovdiv, and its main activity is the production of non-working clothing, in particular men’s trousers. The main aim of this proposal is improving the work environment at Balen OOD by providing healthy and safe occupational conditions for the company’s employees. The specific objectives are as follows: - Installing a mobile air conditioning column-invertor split system to improve protection from hazardous factors of the microclimate (air temperature, air speed, relative humidity) (Ironing and Design Halls, Sewing and Installation Section) - Replacement of windows following specifications for improving protection from the hazardous microclimate (Sewing and Installation Section) - Introducing flexible employment forms to balance professional and personal life and prolong the labour life of older employees. The activities undertaken to implement the objectives will include, as follows: - Purchasing air conditioning equipment - Repair – De-installation and installation of windows (Sewing Hall) - Project management and organization through a special team - Information and publicity about the project Specific outcomes: - Delivered and commissioned mobile air conditioning system for protection from hazardous microclimate - Installed windows to control microclimatic factors - Provided conditions for enhancing the Hamp;S conditions of the target group at Bale OOD - Substantial energy economy resulting from the window replacement - Normalized values of the microclimate factors in the Design, Ironing, Sewing Halls - Introducing a system from flexible working hours and flexible employment for persons over 54 years of age - Increased possibilities for Bale OOD to provide Hamp;S conditions to all employees.
