Improving working conditions in Kontrast -94 Ltd.

„Kontrast–94“Ltd. is a trade company with main economic activity – retail sale of household appliances. It is implemented through on-line shops and a shopping centre in Yambol. There are 22 employees. Men are 15p.(68%), from which 1 over age 54, 1 person with disabilities incl. three of them with children up to 7 years. Women are 7p.(32%), incl. three of them with children up to 7 years. The age characteristics of the target group are: 10 employees aged between 20-29 years, 9 employees aged between 30-39 years, 2 of them between 40-49 and one over 54 years. The project „Improving working conditions in „Kontrast-94“Ltd aims to ensure contemporary working environment for the employees in the company, safety and health working conditions, to introduce innovative practices for environment protection and to ensure modern social benefits. The activities include the mandatory ones as well as optimization of working processes through implementation of flexible working time and rotation, innovative practices for environmental protection. The second activity envisages to diminish the influence of external factors and improve the microclimate in the premises by installation of thermal protection shutters, installation of air-conditions in the warmest areas and the construction of ventilation system. The third main activity will provide social benefits for the employees by equipment of places for rest, dining, sport and children’s activity. The project target group includes all employees of the company. The envisaged activities will be implemented in own property. The expected results are: ensured contemporary working environment through initiated measures for flexible working time and rotation; ensured green jobs through measures for reducing the amount of waste generated thus contributing to protection of environment and combat climate change; provided collective protective measures for better and healthier working conditions and ensured social benefits for the employees.
