Improving the work environment in Megaport Ltd.

The main factor for sustainable development of Megaport Ltd. is the effective policy on human resources and the integration of this policy into the overall business strategy of the company. Therefore, through this project the company aims to improve the work environment in the enterprise, by answering the core needs of the employees in following directions: - Providing transportation to and from the workplace for people working in the "Recycling" department and living in other settlements, as a factor for keeping their jobs and providing sustainable employment; - Creating suitable conditions for a short rest, relaxation and meal by creating suitable accommodation for workers in Plant 1; - Implementation of practices to extend working life and measures for better age-management for employed over ‘54; - Enabling the successful combination of personal, family and professional life for parents of young children and older workers; - Creating a clean and healthy office environment and reducing the negative environmental impact by optimizing organizational processes and introduction of "green" practices in the administrative activities. Implemented as a whole, the planned project activities will have a sustainable positive impact on working conditions in Megaport Ltd., will contribute to increase the effectiveness and motivation of the staff, respectively, will result in improved labor productivity in the enterprise.
