Creating good and safe working conditions in GEYANA Ltd.

GEYANA Ltd. applies under the current procedure as an employer aiming to ensure healthy and safe working environment for its staff. This project is an appropriate opportunity for the company to add more value to their activities, taking measures to improve the organization of work, introducing new methods of management and development of human resources, improvement of work environment factors. Activities in the proposal include: development and implementation of a System for human resources development and an Electronic system, controlling the access and time attendance; providing organized transport to and from the workplace; purchasing of collective redress by which will reduce the adverse impact of the climate inside the premises, and will provide lighting and ergonomics at work; additional social benefits for workers. Project implementation also provides mandatory activities for information and publicity and organization and project management. The target group of the project includes 198 employees of the company (from Ruse and Kubrat), including 60 employees over 54 years, 13 persons with disabilities, 6 families (husband and wife), 13 mothers of children up to 7 years. The candidate will maintain the employment of min. 50% of the target group involved in the project for a period of 6 months after completion of the project activities. Planned activities will result in the achievement of the objectives of the project proposal related to improving quality of life, improving productivity, enhancing social inclusion by improving working conditions in the workplace and occupational and health status of the workforce, in compliance with the law (national and European), the principles laid down in Regulation (EC) №1081 / 2006 and in accordance with established company policy for safety and health working conditions.
