Good and safe working conditions in Food machinery international Ltd.

Food Machinery international Ltd. was established in 2011 with its main scope of business activity production of machinery and equipment for the food industry and agriculture. In line with its plans to improve the quality of the working environment and ensure good and safe working conditions, the company plans to implement under the current project the following activities: 1. Development, adaptation and introduction of a system for human resources development. 2. Providing means for collective protection: protective screen for a lathe (1 pcs.); protective fence with a locking system for a 400-ton press (1 pc.); safety fence with a locking system for folding (1 pc.); local aspiration system (1 pcs.); displacement ventilation system for fresh air (1 pc.) and lightning protection installation (1 pcs.); buying ergonomic office chairs (4 pcs.) and ergonomic office chairs (7 pcs.) and 2 sets of special protective clothing (protective jacket and trousers - 2 pcs., protective shoes - 2 pcs.) and 2 sets of PPE (welding helmet and gloves - 2 pcs.) for 2 welders and PPE (protective goggles - 1 pc. and protective gloves - 1 pcs.) for 1 mechanic, working with a laser. 3. Project organization and management. 4. Project visualisation. The following priority measures are included in the project activities: (1) measures to promote development in the field of environmental policy, climate change, resource efficiency"and (2) measures to promote reconciliation of work, family and private lifes of employees. Currently the average annual number of company staff is 15 people. In relation to this, the persons comprising the target group of each of the project activities, constitute more than 50% of the total average number of staff employed by the company, as in addtition it envisaged that 5 persons belonging to the priority group of employed people of above 54 years of age will be involved in the target group of the project activities.
