Improving the Working Environment in Alko BG Ltd. through Investments in Safe and Healthy Working Conditions

The candidate under the current procedure is “Alko BG” Ltd. whose principal activity is manufacture of outerwear without work clothes. This project will enable the applicant to improve the work environment in the enterprise and provide a healthy and safe environment for their employees. Investments in both means of collective defense, and in personal protective equipment and special clothing and providing additional social benefits to employees will improve the quality of jobs and will reflect positively on labor productivity in the enterprise. The overall objective of the project is to contribute to the improvement of the work environment and quality of jobs for the employees of Alko BG Ltd. The specific objective of the project is to provide good and safe working conditions and improvement of work and health status of employees, which fully corresponds with the objectives and priorities of the "Development of Human Resources" under Priority Axis 1 "Improving access to employment and job quality." To achieve the objectives described above, the project envisages activities to provide ergonomics at work, means of collective protection from dust and unfavorable microclimate, as well as providing social benefits for workers such as a place for recreation and sport. As part of the project it is envisaged purchasing means of collective protection and special clothing, equipment necessary for the creation of recreation and sport and chairs and rugs to improve ergonomics in the workplace, optimization of business processes and practices for prolonging working life. The implementation of the activities envisaged in this project proposal will lead to the following results: - Improving quality and working conditions for the employees of the target group of the project; - Raising the possibility of reconciling professional and private life; - Providing a healthy and safe work environment for the employees of "Alko BG" Ltd.
