Improving working conditions and optimization of workflow in "Water Supply and Sewerage" OOD, Pernik

The project will be implemented by ViK Pernik and is going to include all 361 employees of the company including 153 older workers (over 54 years of age) and 34 people with disabilities. Based on an analysis of the needs and constraints of the target groups specific objectives have been identified and activities are proposed to achieve the objectives. The following activities are planned: - implementation of changes in the organization of work addressing the “work-life balance” problem and enhancing the employability of workers over 54 years of age; - implementation of an innovative model for the organization of the work for increase of productiveness and environmental protection; - improvement of working conditions by provision of collective protective equipment and new PPE which provide higher level of protection; - provision of training to 305 workers on specific risks, related to their individual work places; - implementation of OHSMS in compliance with OHSAS 18001:2007 and certification of the system; - Organization and management and information and publicity activities.
