IMPROVEMENT OF HEALTH AND SAFETY WORKING CONDITIONS IN TRANSLES COMMERS LTD.

TRANSLES COMMERCE operates in the municipality of Madan. The main activity of the company is woodworking. The nature of the activity in this sector forms a wide range of elements of the work environment and work processes that have a direct impact on the workers' health. The types of work performed, work equipment in use, the materials used and the applied technology predetermine occurrence of occupational risks to health and safety of employees. This project is aimed at solving the identified problems and needs in front of the target group - all employees 38 people, including 3 over the age of 54: 1) lack of a system of personnel development, incl. innovative, efficient and flexible forms of work organization and human resource management; 2) provided health and safety at work only to the minimum required by law - no certain means of collective protection 3) lack of important benefits for people in the company such as room for rest and eating; 4) inability to travel to the workplace for those employees who live outside the city of Madan. The planned project activities provide for the development and introduction of a system for human resource development, provision of means of collective protection - protection from dust, toxic and other harmful substances through repair of existing aspiration system and purchase of professional cleaning machines, improving lighting in rooms, purchase of personal protective equipment and special clothing for workers, organizing transport to and from the workplace and the equipment room for a short rest and nutrition. They will also contribute to environmental protection, resource efficiency and compliance with EU horizontal policies.
