The main objective of this present project is to further improve the working environment and provide safe working conditions for the employees of "Cosmos Shipping". The project’s implementation is aimed at leading to the maintenance and constant improvement of quality, healthy and safe working environment. The objective will be achieved through business processes optimization, including introduction of flexible forms of employment, practices to extend the working life of older workers (over 54 years), measures for staff development in terms of training planning, career management, planning and implementation of measures for lifelong learning and new practices for securing human resources, provision of human resources management software, including intranet, and development and implementation of occupational health and safety management system certified under the BS OHSAS 18001 standard. The target group of the project represents 28 employed persons, of whom 11 persons above the age of 54. The project implementation will meet the target group’s need of better and safer working environment, flexible forms of employment, training and self-improvement and adapting to the demands of modern working environment and labor market.
