The implementation of this project will satisfy the need for ensuring adequate mechanisms for prevention of occupational and health risks are at place at MAK AD. The overall project objective is to improve the work environment in at MAK AD by providing better and safer work conditions and innovative models of work organization and human resource management. The project proposal has the following specific objectives: To improve employee satisfaction and motivation through the introduction of new organizational practices and innovative models also leading to environment protection; through improving resource efficiency and the introduction of flexible forms of employment at MAK AD To reduce the number of occupational accidents and work related illness; to create safer work environment by purchasing new, higher standard personal protective equipment and special clothing; and additional tools; To improve the health and safety policy at MAK AD through workplace safety training and re certification; To improve physical access for people with disabilities to the enterprise; The target group includes all 179 employees of the company, 80 of them are over 54 years old and 8 have a disability. The implementation of this project will improve the work and safety environment for all involved and will also have a direct impact on the growth of their commitment. The project will impact the environment by more efficient use of company resources, reduction in energy consumption and pollution.
