"Improving access to knowledge and skills in art of carpetry worthy for kings"

The overall project objective is to increase labor productivity and create sustainable employment in "Hemus" Ltd. by: - Creating quality jobs in the company by improving the qualifications and skills of employees; - Professional training for unemployed and inactive persons in the region in the production of carpets and their subsequent employment. The project will use flexible training and employment schemes with 16 employees and 16 unemployed / inactive persons aged 30 to 54 Employees will undergo three vocational training courses - "Carpet-weaving - handmade carpets" - first level vocational qualification, "Carpet-weaving - handmade tapestries, rugs, covers" - 1st level vocational qualification and “Worker in the textile production - textile production” - 1st level vocational qualification. They will be involved in training in Key Competence 6 "Social and civic competences". During the training employees will switch to 4-hour work day. Unemployed / inactive persons will pass three vocational courses: "Carpet-weaving - handmade carpets" - 1st level vocational qualifications, "Carpet-weaving - handmade tapestries, rugs, covers" - 1st level vocational qualification and "Operator in the textile production - Weaving" - 2nd level vocational qualification. They will be trained in Key Competence 2 "Foreign languages - English". Until completion of the training the trainees will be engaged 6 hours per day. All parties will have the opportunity to gain knowledge and skills from an external provider whose training programs will be tailored to the requirements of the employer. All 16 unemployed / inactive persons will be included for at least one month in not subsidized employment. The employer plans to do this during the training to ensure equality between old and new staff. The new employees will also be hired on a 4 hour per day basis. 4 persons will be provided employment after completion of the procedure for a minimum of three months.
