Employment access, increase of labor positions quality and professional development through training – an important tool to improve the level of tourist services.

The project is implemented by Synergon Hotel Joint-stock company, which has traditions and experience in investment in human resources, and involves 88 unemployed/inactive and employed persons. Among them: 48 unemployed/inactive persons receive theoretical and practical training in 4 new for them professions: Housekeeping staff – 8; Waiter – Bartender – 16; Cook – 16; Hotel receptionists – 8. The training is implemented after the licensed programmes of VEC to"Synergon Hotels" to the highest degree of the professional qualification. Training in part of the profession Hotel Receptionist is planned. The professions range considers the employer’s needs. While being trained (4 teaching hours) the trainees are employed on an unsubsidized position (4 hours) where they study the minute details of the profession in a real work environment. 40 employed persons of the employer’s staff will be involved in vocational training: Housekeeping staff – 10, Waiter – Bartender – 12; Cook –12; Hotel receptionists – 6. Hus the gained new knowledge and skills will result in greater flexibility in working as well as compatibility and replacement opportunities for the company’s working process. Age characteristic: 46 of the persons involved (52,27%) are at the age 30 – 54, 32 persons (36,6%) are under 29 and 10 – over 54 (11,36%). Minimum 14 persons (29,16%) out of the 48 trained unemployed/inactive persons will get employed for more than 3 months. Territory range: the project is implemented in Plovdiv – Grand Hotel Plovdiv and in resort complex Slanchev bryag – Iskar, Glarus and Evropa hotels. Length of the project: 16 months among them 2 for training and 14 training and employment. The flexibility the procedure grants for activities implementation and the specific goals achievement allows staged selection and inclusion of participants in the main activities of the project: І phase - September 2017 - June 2018, and II phase - March 2018 - December 2018.
