Learning matters

The overall objective of the present project proposal is to: Increase the quality of the workforce and develop human capital in "BULGARIAN BUILDING COMPANY" EAD; Enhancing its competitiveness, productivity and adaptability to modern market requirements, by enhancing the qualifications of employees and acquiring key competencies in the context of the strategic goals of the Lisbon Strategy for a knowledge-based economy and for lifelong learning. The problem with the high percentage of low-skilled and knowledge-poor students is serious for the Bulgarian public and it is therefore necessary to create conditions for their professional development in order to build a knowledge-based economy. In response to these processes and in order to counteract them, 52 employees of the company will be trained within the project in the following directions: Specialty "Industry", code 3451201; Specialty "Basic and finishing works", code 5820801; Specialty "Interior Facings and Flooring" 5820306; KK2 "Foreign Language Communication - English". Through the implementation of the planned activities, the qualification of the personnel will be improved and the possibility of increasing their working capacity will be improved. When identifying learners, we expect at least 50% of them to have completed a lower education level than ISCED 4 and / or to be over 54. They will have the opportunity to learn important key competencies directly related to their daily work And the core business of the firm, thereby ensuring their greater flexibility and adaptability. At the end of the project, it is expected that the staff's suitability for work processes will be improved and that they will be able to perform better their work commitments.
