Creating conditions for sustainable employment in Port Complex Ruse J.S. Co.

The project "Creating Conditions for Sustainable Employment in "Port Complex – Russe J.S. Co” aims to enhance the professional qualification and competence of workers and employees of the company recruited under labor contracts. 130 out of 147 employees working in the company will receive qualification in two specific professions with an upgrading effect: "Fitter of lifting - transport equipment” and "Operator of Ports and Fleet Operations". Due to the specifics of the professions and of the corporate activities, the larger part of the operational and managerial staff (105 people) will receive key competence No. 2 "Foreign Languages". The rest of the employees of the enterprise will receive Key Competence № 4 "Digital Competence". The training will provide an opportunity for the trainees without qualification to receive such and those who already have qualification will receive additional one in order to introduce the latest knowledge and skills in the field of their professional realization. Key competence training will enable employees to communicate and read professional literature in a foreign language at their workplace, access, create and process different digital content for their professional needs, and receive skills for safe use of the digital environment. The project target group is eligible under the Applicant Guide's Terms. 102 people out of the appointed have secondary education (70% of the workforce), 6 people have basic education (4%) and 39 - higher education. Thus, "over 50% of employees have a lower education level than ISCED 4". 38% of the employed are over 54 years old including the staff with higher education. For the efficient implementation of the project, a management team will be set up to conduct the coordination and communication activities. The expected benefits will occur during the implementation of the activities for the trainees, the company and its numerous clients.
