Training for "MEDTEX SWISS" OOD

With the project the company aims to overcome problems with lack of qualification of some of the employed or with the need their qualification to be improved. The company is going to support the workers to adapt to the changes in the labour market by acquiring usable knowledge and skills and ensure job sustainability and improved quality of jobs. The target group of the project consists of 56 workers of the company who are directly involved in the production of medical devices. According to the Applicant Guide at least 50% of the target group are to be people above 54 years of age and or with secondary education or lower. With the project the company provides vocational training for: - 2 workers employed in the knitting workshop and 2 workers employed at the tailoring workshop for qualification in “Knitting Production” (3rd degree) of Profession “Textile Technician”; - 10 workers employed in the knitting workshop and 1 worker in the tailoring workshop for qualification in “Knitting Production” (2nd degree) of Profession “Operator in Textile Manufacturing”; - 1 worker employed in the knitting workshop and 27 workers in the tailoring workshop for qualification in “Manufacturing of Textile Clothing” (2nd degree); - 6 workers in the tailoring workshop for qualification in “Tailoring” (1st degree); 16 of the workers from the above group will also receive an English language training, and 7 other workers will also be trained in English. The expected results from the project are: - Acquired or improved qualification for knitting production of Profession “Textile Technician” for 4 workers, qualification in “Knitting Production” (2nd degree) of Profession “Operator in Textile Manufacturing” for 11 workers, qualification in “Manufacturing of Textile Clothing” for 28 workers, qualification in “Tailoring” for 6 workers; - Enhanced competence in English language for 23 workers; - Increased career development opportunities and improved quality of jobs.
