INCREASING THE COMPETENCES OF HEALTHCARE WORKERS OF MBAL „YULIYA VREVSKA” – BYALA EOOD

Candidate - MBAL “YULIYA VREVSKA” BYALA EOOD, Byala, Ruse region. Project target group are 231 employees at the healthcare facility; Beneficiaries: totally 61 health workers from the target group, 25 of them-aged over 54, 34 – with secondary education. General objective of the project is aimed at increasing the abilities of the employees of MBAL Byala to meet current and future needs of healthcare - to improve the quality of the medical services that they provide, to increase the sustainability of their employment, the quality of their jobs and the duration of their professional life. Specific objectives: 1.Improving the competences of totally 30 beneficiaries by providing vocational training for the professions “healthcare assistant” and “caretaker”; 2.Improving the foreign language competences of 21 beneficiaries by key competences training 2, English language and the digital competences of 10 - by key competences training 4. Activities for achieving the project objectives: 1.Vocational training of totally 30 beneficiaries for the professions “healthcare assistant” /10/, and “caretaker” /20/; 2.English language training for 21 beneficiaries and digital competences training for 10. Expected results: 90,2 % of the beneficiaries to complete the vocational and key competences trainings, which will improve their opportunities for employment and career development, will positively influence the sustainability of their employment and the duration of their professional life. In social aspect, the acquired new competences will contribute for the higher quality of the medical services, will respond to the needs of the employers for demanded professions and specialties in the sector, for updating the professional and key competences of the employed, will be relevant to the challenges of the Bulgarian healthcare reform and the cohesion within the EU. Result indicator: 55 /90,2 %/ beneficiaries, acquired new vocational, language or computer qualification within the project.
