Providing professional education and education in key competences for the staff of Independent medical diagnostic laboratory "Status" Ltd

Laboratory “STATUS” Ltd is an independent medical diagnostic laboratory, which is one of the biggest in North East Bulgaria. Its head office is in Varna, and beside Varna, it has branches in 9 other small towns in the region. Currently the personnel of the laboratory are 77 people, from which 74 have employment agreement. Various educational and qualification courses, which are organized and paid by the employer are a part of the daily work of “STATUS” staff. The constant upgrading and raising the skills and the competences of the staff is of a great importance for the management of the laboratory. That is why they invest in the staff’s education and development. The project implementation will contribute to the training access of 30 people from its staff. From them 15 people will obtain a professional qualification in various specialties which will contribute for the more effective work of the administration and the support staff. The employees who will update their foreign language or digital competences are 24 and are mainly from the medical, lab and administrative personnel. From one part, this will lead to better and more optimal functioning of the lab and particularly of its remoted branches, also to find new partners and to enlarge the lab’s activity. From another part, through various trainings of the employees, the quality of the working places will raise, guaranteeing the educated staff’s job places and increasing their incomes. The project implementation will contribute to the achievement of these objectives through the following activities: 1. Providing professional education for obtaining or raising the professional qualification of the employed people; 2. Providing training on key competences 2“Foreign languages communication” and 4“Digital competence” for the staff of the staff of the lab.
