Higher labour productivity at Stany-89 OOD by training for acquiring knowledge, skills and competence and for sustained employment

Stany-89 OOD is engaged with the production and trade of leather products and has established itself as the biggest producer on the Balkans of ladies’ handbags made from synthetic and real leather. The company exports its products mainly to the Italian market by partnering with world-renowned companies in this sector. Globalization and the growing competition require a dynamic adaptation of the enterprise to the changing needs of the economy and the labour market. All support for the employers, through the BG05M9OP001-1.021 "Employee Training" procedure, which aims to enhance the ability of employees to face the emerging labour market changes resulting from globalization, technological changes and the aging of the population, will contribute to solving the problems of sustainable employment, responding to the current needs of the business. The activities included in the current project proposal of the applicant are directed towards increasing the adequacy of the knowledge, skills and competence the employees of the company, at least 50% of whom are over 54 years of age or do not have education higher than secondary, namely: - Provide training to 210 labour agreement employees at Stany-89 OOD to acquire professional qualifications under specialty 5420702 “Leather goods manufacturing” (IInd Degree of Professional Qualification), profession 542070 “Foot-ware and leather goods manufacturing operator”, from the professional field 542 "Textile, apparel, foot-ware and leather production technologies” from the LPVET. - Provide English language training - Key Competence 2 "Foreign language teaching", according to the European Qualifications Framework to 26 labour agreement employees at Stany-89 OOD. - Information and communication measures; - Project organization and management;
