Improving the professional qualification of "Biovet" Ltd. employees, through trainings

BIOVET Ltd. is a leading European producer of intermediates, active substances and medications in the pharmaceutical industry.The project proposal is a part of the overall strategy for market stability and economic growth of the company by investing in human resources.It targets provision of training for the acquisition of professional qualification in part of professions, specific to the pharmaceutical sector of 199 employees, working in this priority sector of the economy. The training will be held for the 2nd or 3rd qualification degree, as required by NAVET. The project also includes provision of KC 2 "Training in foreign languages" - English language training for 22 employees who are responsible for ensuring the quality of the company's products and whose direct work is related to the knowledge of the international requirements and standards in the pharmaceutical sector and the control of their implementation on site. The total number of employees included in the two types of trainings is 221. All of them are employed under economic code 21.10 with permanent employment contracts and they represent the project target group, having also in that number persons over 54 years of age. With the implementation of the planned activities, the project aims to assist the employees in the process of adaptation to the rapid changes in the labor market due to factors such as intensive work with foreign partners, technological changes, new technology penetration, aging of labor force. Trained individuals will improve the quality of their work, their individual productivity and their professional competencies. As a result of these particular measures taken to promote flexible learning processes, the adequacy of their skills will be improved in line with the current needs of the pharmaceutical business,will increase the productivity of the enterprise and will be created conditions for sustainable employment,career growth and respectively,employment in high-quality positions.
