Job security and career development through education in IB "Balkan" JSC

The current project proposal will be implemented by IBC Balkan JSC in an employer capacity. The company was established in 1998 in Sofia and operates in the field of risk management and insurance services by serving more than 15 000 companies throughout the country. The company operates in sector K "Financial and insurance activities" with NACE 66.22 "Activities of insurance brokers and agents". The project proposal includes measures to increase the knowledge of key competencies of 60 employees in the company. The focus of the project proposal is human capital development to adapt employees to rapid business and technology development. As a marketing strategy, the enterprise constantly adapts the services offered to the latest trends in the industry. The aim of the project is to improve the qualifications of employees and to retain their long-term staff who are threatened by the inadequacy of their knowledge and skills. In order to meet the objectives, the following activities will be implemented: 1) Training for Key Competencies for Employees under the European Qualifications Framework on: Key Competence 2 "Foreign Language Communication" for 35 persons employed on a labor contract; 2) Training for Key Competences for Employees under the European Qualifications Framework on: Key Competence 4 "Digital Competence" for 25 persons hired on a labor contract; Total project cost: 30750 BGN. Under Art. 47 of the VAT Act, the companies operating in the insurance industry are exempt from VAT, which is why VAT is declared as eligible expenditure in the project and the value of the training in the project is pledged with VAT. Duration: 14 months The project budget doesn't entail project organization and management costs and costs for information and communication, according to the OP's rules to charge these costs ex-officio.
