Vocational Training for the Employees of Center for Emergency Medical Assistance - Sofia

With this project proposal Center for Emergency Medical Assistance - Sofia aims to overcome existing problems related to the lack of qualification of some its employees. In this way the persons employed at the Center are going to have the opportunity to adapt to the changes in the labour market by being confident and motivated at their work places. The target group of the project are 100 people employed at the Center for Emergency Medical Assistance - Sofia. They are all non-medical staff - ambulance drivers, national emergency phone call center operators and attendants) who are directly involved in provision of emergency medical care being part of the emergency teams. With the project the Center for Emergency Medical Assistance - Sofia is going to provide vocational training for the "Paramedic" profession (third level of qualification) by its own licensed Vocational Training Center for 100 of its employees, engaged in the delivery of emergency medical assistance. Expected project results are : - Acquired professional qualification for "Paramedic" (third level) for 100 employees of Center for Emergency Medical Assistance - Sofia; - Improved career advancement opportunities; - Improved quality and sustainability of work places.
