Improving the quality of the workforce in the Plovdiv Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) through professional training of the employees in the field of Economics-Informatics, specialty Economic Informatics

The project aims to increase the quality of the workforce (managers and employees) in the PCCI through the realization of vocational training in a poriority sphere for the existance and development of the organization PCCI, i.e Economic Informatics, code 4820101, provided by a service provider within the settlement. In order to obtain and achieve the expected results, the project envisages the implementation of a series of targeted activities for the effective operational implementation of the project, namely: organization and management of the project; conducting of monitoring and evaluation; conducting a procurement procedure for a training provider; conducting a vocational training; information campaign and dissemination of the results of the training. After the successful completion of the training, a test in theory and practice will be carried out by the participants in the training (target group) and they will acquire a third degree of professional qualification in the specialty under which they have recieved training of 960 hours. Participants in the training who have successfully passed the theory and practice exam will be awarded a certificate of professional qualification according to a model of the Ministry of Education and Science. The training of the target group in the foreseen specialty is in line with the modern necessity of the workforce to cultivate and realize its potential in the workplace by acquiring knowledge and skills or their improvement. As a result of the training, the employees will increase their productivity and efficiency and will create a condition for sustainable employment, adequate to the current needs of the PCCI, taking into account the rapid development of the technological environment and the increased requirement of the employers towards the labour force regarding of new production, information and communication technologies.
