Staff training is an ongoing process of development that focuses on improving knowledge, skills, attitudes, and behavior of human resources, so employees can effectively carry out present and future tasks that require great deal of responsibility and complexity. Staff training can help people and organizations meet their business needs. In order to improve individual, group, and organizational performance, the process of training must be achieved and fostered through the respective management activities that are in tight connection with the strategy of the organization. In result, employees will develop new qualities – they will gain improved knowledge, skills, and attitudes; effectively execute tasks; have the ability to undertake complex tasks in the future; and realize that the well-targeted changes in their skills/qualities would lead to a higher level of satisfaction, not only for their needs, but also the for those of the organization. These results cannot be achieved without the specific efforts and activities that staff training provide. In such a context, the present project envisages the provision of training for professional qualification for the occupation "Technician in woodworking" and key competencies training for “Communication in foreign languages”. These trainings will help improve employees’ skills and will have a positive impact on a broader scale – all stakeholders, i.e. individuals, employers, society, and economic entities will benefit. The improvement of skills and qualities will help encourage a higher level of employment and ensure more and better jobs.
