Enhancement of professional competence in EMA Ltd. through the implementation of specific trainings

EMA Ltd. is one of the leading companies in the field of production and trade in paper, cardboard and paper products for the printing and packing industry, office papers, envelopes and sanitary hygienic papers. The main factors contributing to the development of the company over the years are the availability of its own warehouses, road transport, ever-growing portfolio of manufactured and marketed products. The globalisation and growing consumers requirements led to the rapid growth of the packaging industry. These changes made EMA Ltd. to take a decision to invest in a modern and unique for Bulgaria automated extrusion and lamination line for boards and papers. The line, once set through the HMI, maintains all technical settings, including the thickness of the extruded coating. When the recruitment for the new production starts by applying this procedure, the company intents to carry out activities directly aimed at the employed and the inactive / unemployed persons who will undergo specific training for the knowledge of the characteristics of the newly produced products of the lamination and extrusion line and technical English language courses. These trainings will be directly focused on the specifics of the production process and the commissioning of an extrusion line. Thus, on the other hand, will provide prerequisites for career development of four inactive / unemployed persons up to 29 years of age who will be recruited through the present project proposal and will undergo specific training. A second significant effect is to ensure that the company already empowered to raise knowledge and skills and career development in one of the fastest growing economic sectors. Last but not least, inclusion in specific training for inactive and employed people will lead to an increase in the company's production capacity, improved customer relationships, swift adapting to the ever changing market environment and new sales to foreign markets.
